Therapeutic Parenting Time Assessment & Ongoing Service

This is a more comprehensive, clinical assessment regarding family functioning, parent-child relationships, and specific needs of the child specifically in regards to Parenting Time recommendations (frequency, duration, and interventions).

Therapeutic Parenting Time is also an available service. This is a psycho-educational, systematic and therapeutic based type of supportive supervision where advanced observation and intervention is utilized to strengthen the parent-child relationship and repair disorganized attachment. Intensive and individualized interventions, psychoeducation, consultation and coaching aimed to improve parenting skills, increase an understanding of child development, and to promote secure attachment while empowering parents to “parent” rather than “visit” are provided. The goal of this service is to facilitate healthy relationships, optimize visitation setting to provide contact in an emotionally and physically safe and structured environment, support reunification efforts and continuously strive to repair and strengthen the parent-child relationship.
